Prof. Igor Kostyuk

Professor of Department of Urology, Military Medical Academy of the Russian Defence Ministry named after Sergei Kirov, practicing oncology surgeon at 122 Clinical Hospital named after Leonid Sokolov, Federal Medical and Biological Agency of the Russian Federation, 40 Municipal Hospital of Kurortniy Municipal District in St. Petersburg, an acting member of the European Society of Surgical Oncology (ESSO) and the European Association of Urologists (EAU) and appointed co-ordinator clinical researches in the field of urology and oncology.  
In 1996 Igor Kostyuk graduated with honour from and obtained MSc degree at the Navy Fleet Department, Military Medical Academy, St. Petersburg, Russia.
In 1996-1997 he completed his internship course at the Department of Surgery, Military Medical Academy, and obtained PhD degree.
In 1997-2001 Igor Kostyuk worked as a practicing surgeon at the Military Hospital of the Russian Northern Navy Fleet at Severomorsk, North-West Russia.  
In 2001-2003 he studied and practiced at the Surgical Clinical Residency, Military Medical Academy, and Leningrad Regional Oncological Dispensary (LROD).
In 2003-2006 Igor Kostyuk worked as a resident surgeon at the Department of Surgery at LROD.
In 2006-2010 Prof. Kostyuk took a position of Chief of Department of Surgery at LROD.

Dr. Dmitrii Krasnozhon

Dr. Dmitry Krasnozhon

Oncology surgeon, mammologist, PhD in medical sciences and third-generation doctor.

Dmitry Krasnozhon graduated with honors from the Military Medical Academy named after Sergei Kirov, St. Petersburg, Russia, in 1998 and after that continued his education in the surgical clinical residency of the same Academy. During his studying in the clinical residency which he completed successfully in 2000 he obtained a qualification in oncology (1999). Beginning from 1999 all medical courses were taught at the Department of General Oncology at the Leningrad Regional Discrepancy of Oncology. In 2000-2004 Dr. Krasnozhon studied took a postgraduate course and in 2004 passed Ph.D. defense of his dissertation titled Surgical and Adjuvant Therapy of Breast Cancer on Early Stages. He also obtained certification in surgery in 2004 and oncology in 2008.

Since 2002 Dr. Dmitry Krasnozhon has practicing as a surgeon at the Department of Breast Diseases of the Leningrad Regional Discrepancy of Oncology located at 37 Liteiny Prospect, St.Petersburg. In 2007 Dr. Krasnozhon took a course at the Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education in St.Petersburg. Since 2007 he has been a member of the European Society of Breast Cancer Specialists (EUSOMA) and the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO).

Since 2004 Dr. Dmitry Krasnozhon has been working as a Senior Researcher and Coordinator of international breast cancer clinical researches at the Leningrad Regional Discrepancy of Oncology.

For the years of professional development Dr. Krasnozhon has published more than 10 articles in national and international scientific magazines.

Dr. Leonid Vasilev

Graduated with honours from the Airforce Department of Military Medical Academy named after Sergei Kirov, St. Petersburg, Russia.    
In 2008 he completed an internship training course at the Leningrad Regional Oncological Dispensary (LROD). After becoming a commissioned military rank Senior Lieutenant Leonid served as a Chief Medical Officer at Military Unit 21350, Tver’, Russian Federation. He was also a nonorganic specialist of 370 Aviation Medical Laboratory in Moscow.
In 2010 Leonid Vasilev completed a medical residency training at the State Paediatric Medical Academy of St.Petersburg at 122 Clinical Hospital named after Leonid Sokolov, Federal Medical and Biological Agency of the Russian Federation, 40 Municipal Hospital of Kurortniy Municipal District in St. Petersburg.
At present Dr. Vasilev works as a practicing military surgeon oncologist and urologist at the Military Medical Academy, St. Petersburg, Russia.
Major interests – oncourology, laparoscopy and endoscopy.
Dr. Vasilev completed his thesis (dissertation) work titled “Upper Urinary Tracks and Kidney Conditions of Edged and Late Life Patients after Urine Derivation by Bricker’s Method”.
He is also an acting member of the European Surgical Association and the Russian Association of Oncologists and Urologists.
Dr. Leonid Vsilev is a co-ordinator of the International Clinical Trials and GCP (Good Clinical Practice) certified professional.
Dr. Vasilev`s area of interests are systematic antitumor therapy of malignant neoplasms in the urogenital system including those at advanced stages, palliative care for oncologic patients and also aspects of general oncology.
Leonid Vasilev`s articles were published in recognised peer-reviewed national and international magazines.
